Triple Deca Ultra Triathlon - Lake Garda, Italy

On August 26th, Shanda will fly from Vancouver to Lake Garda, Italy, where she'll take on the first-ever Triple Deca Ultra Triathlon. The Triple Deca isn't just any race—it's the most formidable challenge ever conceived in the history of endurance sports. Shanda is about to push the boundaries of human potential like never before. First, she'll need to conquer a staggering 114 km swim, then power through an unimaginable 5,400 km on the bike, and as if that weren't enough, she'll top it off with a gruelling 1,266 km run. The Triple Deca Ultra Tri is the ultimate test of strength, resilience, and determination!

This epic journey marks another milestone in Shanda's incredible career. She's already made history as the only person on earth to complete three Double Deca triathlons, and earlier this year, she conquered the Bretzel Ultra Tri Quintuple in France in just 106 hours and 44 minutes!

The race kicks off on September 1st in the stunning landscapes of Lake Garda, Italy.
